Born in St. Louis, MO in 1939, Heath describes herself as a life artist, cultural therapist and root woman: She who gathers history, transforming and celebrating life's unfolding events. She was taught the "art of seeing" by her Granny at an early age: "Things are not always what they seem. Look deeper at what transforms the everyday into the divine."

Heath offers art classes in making Tin Lizzies, diorama/shadow boxes, talking sticks and altars ("a healing testament to life's unfolding"). Find out more about her upcoming classes here.

Her works have been widely enjoyed from solo exhibits at the Museum of African-American Art in Los Angeles to private collections across the country.
